sick again

My shitty illness (literally) stopped for a holiday yesterday and came back for more fun today. I spent like half the day running to the loo and getting it all out.

And yesterday's walking in the rain didn't help me recover. As you all should figure out, it added on to my "What-I'm-Currently-Suffering-From" list. Oh and wait, yesterday's official footdrill period as a DDM didn't really help with crossing off some on the list. Yes yes, adds on.

So now there's diarrhoea, slight fever and sore throat.

I'm like those guys that is prone to minor illnesses.
Sickly, is it?

die ar, Rea

Didn't go to school today. My stomach exploded, something similar to what Ivan had on Tuesday but that was his eye.

Diarrhoea lar.

Slept the whole day. Only starting on my homework now, actually could've started earlier but no more foolscap. So mum ran out for errands and bought me a pad (of foolscap please).

Yes, boring stuff.

Now, my parents and my brother are going overseas, business trip to KL. Sigh, primary school kids are damn lucky. I remembered when I was sick I didn't need an MC for it, just a letter. So he has school off for a day just to go to KL. Lucky, holidays just ended and he gets to go on another "holiday".

hmmm, left with 2 emath and 1 amath homework. + English

Tomorrow's periods is kinda ok, kinda slack but it's something like the old Friday but with a new change. Then band.

My first day as SL was ok. Went through the basics for awhile then off to repertoire. Pirates was ... "ok". The problem as a section was that they didn't blend as a section. Sure, the altos were as 1 most of the time..but alto and tenor had no link. Alto's only problem was that and rhythms. Tenor was rhythm & pitching. I suspect his reed is too hard. He's on a Vandoren traditional 3, need to get him a 2 1/2 and don't think the QM's reed supply has that. Maybe should ask him to do the warm-up that Mr Gavin asked me to do when I had problem's with low notes. Then again, it may be the instrument (like the Selmer bsax I used before the new Yamaha) Have to wait till tomorrow to find out.

Been listening to some operatic music, specifically arias of the opera (i don't know how to phrase this) Maybe should listen by composer, not by performer. Either way is okay. Con se partito is only nice. The one that goes "Time~ to~ say goodbye~" by Bocelli.

sian.

humbug.

It's you.

2 days of school, and it hasn't been quite good.
As usual, I bestow the woe unto myself.
I have got to get out of the holiday mood and into the regular (normal context) school mode.
Timetable changes have been very tiring.
5.30pm days especially.

i'm tired and worried.

Goose Creek my fooot!

I was surfing SoundClick.com (and totally neglecting my homework) and I went to Goose Creek band's page. Heard their supposedly "Ride" before and it was damn nice. BUT when I was at their page, they had Barnes' Third up there. But it's not played by them! But they cope Philwinds recording and out it on SoundClick, renaming it to their band!

SUCH TRAVESTY!!!!!! OMG!!! BBQ!! LOL!!!!

homework so boring.
school so boring.
i wanna play an alto sax now

giddy like gideon

It is not an accomplishment if I do 3 vocab worksheets in 4 hours.
Sigh, the other English assignment is so confusing.

WHY MUST LANGUAGE BE SO TECHNICAL?!

The most technical that I can go with a language is format of letters. Identifying topic sentence or whatever confusing phrase is wayyy to technical for my taste.

And I'm damn giddy/high/dizzy/whatever word applicable to what I'm experiencing now.
---
Damn worried about where my file is. I HOPE it's in school. But I don't remember putting it there. Sigh, Third Symphony, Deux Mouvements and my other favourable but fairly hard scores. POC also!
---
School starts in 31 hours 40 minutes. That's just a lil more than a day. Ay Caramba, stressed. Dunno if I wanna continue with my work, which will totally infringe my commitment for the day (which has passed fyi) Damn j00 Anglais homework. And my hair needs some cuttin'.

how to end a post?

The day down

Yesterday was the SGBandFusion BBQ. Not much of a turn out but it was still good. Enjoyed the chit-chat session even though I didn't contribute to the lot heh. Took a taxi home with the twins and paid for the ride lar, since they always pay for the fare.

Slept at 2 the previous night and the first time this holidays I woke up before 7 (without any motive within the day), so yea woke up at 6.45am. Took out my homework and took quite a long time on just the English 'Week X' type of work. Because Star World shows comedies from 7-9.30 or somewhere around that time. First was Seinfeld then That 70's Show then Still Standing then My Name is Earl then finally it was The Simpsons. Yes, I only did Week 8. Not good.

Then I was damn tired. First time sleep so late wake up so early. The past few days I slept at 3 and slept through until 12. So I'm frigging tired la. Slept and woke up at 12? Ate my supposedly breakfast but it became my lunch .. so technically - brunch. Bathed and went out with my mum to get my specs done. Went to Optic Point (Kovan) but wasn't really impressed with the array of designs that they have. Then went to the one inside Heartland Mall. Got 2 pairs made.

Wanted to get my hair cut but the EZ house or whatever it's called was full. Then I walked straight with my head looking the other way and I accidentally bumped into this lady. She was those type of people that when you bump into that won't forgive your or something. She was like 'OH MY GOD!' with this smug look on her face. Then I run lar, with saying sorry lar. Then that incident didn't really make my day.

Now I'm at home, with a file of English work to be done. I have E & A math work plus bio & chem. I can salvage A math and chem to be done tomorrow or on Monday since I don't have any of those classes on the first day. So I'm planning to do all of my English homework by today (even though I've said that a few posts back) and some of E math.

I'm such a klutz.

3E2 (+ one 3E1 + one 3E5) BBQ @ EAST COAST PARK (20/7)

The barbeque was good. "Nice" food, plus enjoying each other's company.

This BBQ was very sudden. Idea was proposed only on Monday night. Meaningless MSN conversations led to some mediocre plan. The day before the BBQ, after English class, me & a group discussed the plan and whatnot. Discussed for a good hour in school before booking a pit at Hougang Green (via AXS station) Then ate lunch at LJS, where I did admin work (a.k.a calling everyone up) Then shopped for stuff at Shop N Save. The stuff totaled to around $114~. Went home, with heavy stuff. Okay, so that was a brief overview of Monday.

So yesterday (in a technical sense) left my abode at 6.20pm, waited for like 15mins for Gary with a bucket of raw chicken in one hand. Then picked up JJ & Terence, so after that headed for ECP pit 49. We were the first to reach there. Unpacked our stuff, cleaned the tables. Ivan & gang arrived around 5 minutes prior to us getting there. Then started the fire at around 8. I think most of 'em were there 'cept for Jeremiah & KO.

JJ starts things off.

Okay this is the part, where we were not hungry anymore. Damn bored. So do what ar?
As you all may know, fun can come in many forms. In this case, in came in a form of JJ, fire and a bottle of deoderant.

Do the equation : JJ + deoderant + fire
= instant flamethrower.

first few failed attempts

I think it came out okay, but my camera couldn't get flame since the flash was on.

12.30am, and waiting for a cab.

Me, Twins and Melvin took the first cab. Didn't realize that from ECP, it followed the same route that I'm very familiar with. The cab driver cut through Defu Lane to Melvin's home (I didn't know he lived in a condo) then to my house, with the twins dropping off last. Reached home around 1am. Damn tired, but didn't sleep (I'm here la @ 5am, please)

Uploading of the photos took me 2 hours, and I didn't realized you could upload 5 photos at a time. Alamak.. imagine how long would I take if uploaded 1 by 1.

Need to complete my English by tomorrow. Then can do the other Sciences/Maths on the weekend.

Sleepy... And if anyone wants the full .zip file of ALL the pics ask me on MSN (again, practical deja vu) It may take a long time, but not as long as the 6G one ok (camp attendees should know) The pics I posted are of same quality (when you enlarge it) as the one in the .zip file. The ones are posted here are just the tip of the iceberg. Lots more in the .zip file.

ok, gonna go sleep.
good morning.

EDIT -
