Yanagisawa
Currently Playing : Let Me Out - FUTURE LEADERS OF THE WORLD
as the end-of-years are approaching (i know this beause teachers have a tendency to repeat that the EOYs are coming. we got it the first time la 'cher)
anyway, i expect a Whitley-Montfort band exchange sometime near november or early december. i KNOW there's a SSW concert on the 22nd of december (double-concert i think ... POC !!) i know there's a music festival (on local shores) to prepare for SYF late this year or probably early next year, i also know there's another festival NEXT year (MSSMB) overseas.
heh, shucks. this things don't appeal as much as compared to somethin' else ;)
the arrival of the new YANAGISAWA baritone saxophone (along with other instruments)
i did my research and all the YANAGISAWA baritone saxophones have the ultimate Low-A/High F# keys. well unless Mr. Sukit is miser and buys some old model dating back to the establishment of the Yanagisawa company (in 1896) but it's not his money so why should he care :)
for additional info, the Low-A key was researched and then produced in 1966 (well according to Yanagisawasax.co.jp) and i thought it was a recent discovery (yes i'm slow)
which means my current Selmer USA is just a piece of crap.
after learning probability in math class just a few hours ago, i hereby conclude that i have a 20% chance of getting the Yanagisawa B-9930. but still any of 'em will be fine.
The B-9930 has the same features of the B-992.
EXCEPT for this straight phallus-like thingy jutting out. seems like the same thing a bass clarinet has, that round, ball-like thingy (sorry i'm not an expert on instrument anatomy)
take a gander yourself
ain't it a beauty
it's in silver sonic, something like Songlin's gold and pink saxophone haha (but on purpose)
ok, it's time to mug,
good day.
