today's a saturday and my second SSW practice has just gone by. had sectionals and shared a room with the clarinets. and i realize i tend to go flat when playing G so gotta work on that.
for songs, was just Animation Medley for sectionals and combined with the clarinets for that piece.
if i were to play it in MSSMB, i'll play freely and not like what Songlin asked me to play.
but here, i have to express the long notes and make most of the phrases musical (the euphonium melody oi think)
then went for break at 12 till 1. then combined with the whole band.

we sight read something called Prometheus Overture (i think). it's actually an easy song, but i screwed it up. then we played the two japanese pieces, (note to self: need work hard on both.)
& i was afraid he would ask us to play POC, i fear my solo (though i have been working on it [: )
