Lucky for You Xian it isn't called a Trenor sax
Was late for SSW practice today, overslept. Initially woke up at 7 but decided to sleep again and guess what, woke up at 8.30am! The time I'm usually already at AMK.
Okay, so dragged Tanny to Yishun. Was already like 15 minutes late. Lucky got 2 others with me (coincidentally both from my section), Nicholas (Gid's cousin) and the bari sax, Joon Lei was it?
Anyway, yup set up Tanny and did some warm ups before moving on to Aroldo.
To sidetrack abit, YX used to say he can't play the G due to some embouchure problem OR due to Tanny (if you have not read my posts, Tanny is what YX named his tenor sax) Dude, not to worry, I think it's Tanny. Since I think we're not that screwed to have the same embouchure problem and also I can play G's on the other tenors. Anyway the problem it's hard to produce a clean note. The sound is like growling+flutter=going damn high (probably an octave higher, but what do I know?) But figuring how to really get the note not to go off track.
So anyhoo, yep practice was good. Big band, more on the right side that is. Couldn't get the running notes/stacc part yet. Sad for me :(
Then after practice went to eat the cafeteria and then accompanied Cheng Fu to LJS. Damn funny how I got an idea how Fikri got his dad to buy him that 3.5k RC. I think it's true, bet he went to Bandworld bare assed :p Kay joking.
Anyway, Amath test on Tuesday on Log. Seriously, logarithms is bothering me ALOT. I had a dream about it ok. Super weird some more. Nevermind, I'm released from school at 1 tomorrow, can revise (or re-study) the whole chapter.
I just realized I'm the third one to join the ranks of Lim Guo Hong and Gary to be quoted in the MSS school blog. Ok, maybe fourth if you count that RI guy quote.
siiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaannnnnn
