Too many, too much

Buns (the literal one)

Mum baking too much. Started with the muffins, then buns, then my birthday cake. then agar-agar (ok she didn't bake this) and alot alot of savouries. I'm getting sick at the taste of cake already.

Anyway, band prac in the morning was good. The band improving, maybe just in time for the Aug 5th. Revealed about the section competition, no one seemed that hyped up about it.

So skip to the YCK concert. Enjoyed the first half, especially Persis, which was great. Moorish Pirates also was great. The first note especially. Second half was okay, liked the combo band. Shostakovich 5th was nice also. Especially liked Elisabeth. But I think the highlight was El Bosque Magico lar haha. Super nice sia.

Er, to end off this tad boring post...

Name-calling in band, especially percussion section.

We got no Lemuel, Farhan, Malgene, Daniel, Jonathan & Yuan Xuan anymore.
Only got Boss, The-One-That-Always-Play-Bass-Drum (aka Bun), You, Mallet, Small Boy and BO.
Jasper & Jarrett no nick name. Maybe The-Ones-That-Never-Turn-Up-For-Pracs

Sax section also got, ever since Mr Sukit said Sesame Street the grandfather (me, bari) lead the saxes at the soli part.
