Plaid Nightmare had his first nightmare in a long time.
Last night tried to sleep early due to the mass workout in the morning. Had a nightmare and a damn scary one, able to beat any M. Night Shyamalan or Stephen King movie. It went something like I was in school, at night, at the study area beside the General Office. I was with a few people (can't remember who though) then suddenly just got screams from nowhere. Then realized that small maggots or worms were growing out of my hands. They were just like popping out. Then I don't know how, but I knew water would kill it (like the Aliens in 'Signs') Then when I went back, got possessed sheep running around the garden near the statue. Flicked water at them then they ran off. Dreams are derived from stored memory.. and I was dissing the new horror movie 'Black Sheep' the night before, so that may be where I got that sheep part. Then that dream ends there.
Second dream after I woke up from the first one. Wasn't that horrifying but still scary. Was locked in my own room and had to get clues to get out of it. Weird, I know.
I jolted from my bed at 4. Couldn't sleep, too afraid to get back to sleep. So at about 4.10am I just slept. Guess what? Another dream, but a very very weird one. I dreamt Ellen DeGeneres had a birthday party but no one came.
I am weird la ok.
Ok 'nuff about my dreams.
So, might as well break some news out. After our performance in August, there will be a section competition. Sections got like around 2 weeks to practise 2 pieces - a choice piece and a set piece, somewhat like SYF. The set piece I have already done it. A very very simple 16-bar piece (or chorale) mainly focusing on intonation and colour. Problem is, very hard to make one for percussion. Got to find a way soon. Anyway, it's called Suo Gân. It's a Welsh folksong/melody so yep.
To end off, noticed today the band played very very well. I guess we're at that turning point.
