it bean long time

Not much happened the past few days. Dental for 2 days (yes). My pearly whites are clean and I'm still the same.

If you have read a multitude of posts back, there's this post that I commented on the, well, "structure" of the holidays. It goes like where it starts of boring, slammed with remedials and whatnot. Then when you're hitting the third week it kinda grows on you and you get used to it.

YAR I AM AT THAT STAGE.

I'm used to the stay-at-home-and-sleep-for-5-hours-in-the-afternoon kinda regime. Can't believe it's nearing the end of the 3rd week! A little bit over a week till school resumes! NOO!

Anyway, been surfing Sibelius alot. Still adore Jan Snoeckx '3' - trio for bassoon, trombone and baritone sax. Just very modern and neo-classical. Heard 'Divertimento for Saxophone quartet'. It sucked. The piece was toooooooooo abstract. Then heard 'Scherzo for 3 trumpets', kinda nice.

So Mr Sukit wants us to prepare a piece for the August test. Been wanting to play Paganini's Caprice nr. 24, but worried if Mr Sukit knows the piece inside out and wants me to play the the last few variations. So I don't want to play some well-known transcripted piece (No Bach Cello Suites & Mozart's Bassoon concerto!) So found a nice piece on Sibelius called "Schwarzer Tänzer" (literally meaning black dancer) Damn nice. It's a dance, nice tempo, nice balance with the piano (even though I can't request Mr Sukit to accompany me on the piano during the test)

So bored ... and I have not watched Criminal Minds for 3 days! Achievement, no?
